After three tricks West’s hand is an open book. His lead of the ¨A promises the King and he has now switched to “another” Ace therefore he cannot have any more points otherwise he would have not have initially Passed. Therefore all the remaining points have to be with East. With this information you win the heart continuation in dummy and play AQ§. If East plays the king you ruff it otherwise you chuck a losing Diamond (ie a ruffing finesse). You enter dummy via a Diamond ruff. You throw a losing Diamond on the established Club. You now advance the ª10 ready to finesse West for both the King and Queen of Spades You will now amass 10 tricks by way of 3 Spades, 4 Hearts, 1 Diamond ruffed in short hand, 1 Club and 1 established Club as he passed originally and we know his AD lead promised King so now we have to do ruffing finesse against East.
