The bidding has ruled out a black suit lead so its now a toss up between Hearts and Diamonds or is it ? If you lead Diamonds you will need an awful lot from partner to establish a trick in this suit but in Hearts you will need just the Ace or King so you opt to lead the ©3.

Declarer wins and when the trumps break 31 he has now walked into making just ten tricks and an almost bottom point score since most were bringing in 11 tricks and some even 12 with a good guess in trumps.
